Wordspring Guest Service Associate:   The person filling this position will be responsible for the delivery of effective reception services to greet, assist, and provide other guest services as required to visitors to the WordSpri8ng Discovery Center.  Duties of this position include greeting and welcoming the visiting public; assisting guests with any immediate needs (e.g. concierge service, directions around campus, contacting staff, etc.); providing a brief orientation for guests (e.g. location of restrooms, highlights of exhibits, Village Shop, Cafe); monitoring visitor access and issuing building passes when required; answering phone inquiries as needed, providing guest service as required; operating the cash register; monitoring and maintaining the public spaces to that they are clean and well presented; and performing clerical duties such as entering data into files, printing nametags, confirming group visits, filing, photocopying and collating.

Required Qualification:  To perform this job successfully, the applicant should have a demonstrated proficiency of Microsoft Office products, particularly Word and Excel.  Experience with a Window-based e-mail system would be advantageous.  Must have a high school diploma or GED; or three to twelve months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Oracle Database Administrator (DBA):  Facilitate the work of Bible translation by providing technical expertise in the design, implementation, and maintenance of relational database management systems that support Oracle-based enterprise applications.

Required Qualifications:  Bachelor degree from a four-year college or university; or two to four year related experience and/or training in database administration; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Major Gifts Officer: Two separate positions (Southern California, (San Diego/Los Angeles area) or State of Florida)  Contact, cultivation, and solicitation of major gifts.  The major gifts officer (MGO) directs a management plan for major donors and prospects, including the annual selection of a group of donors for a major gift, and recruitment of a regionally-based team of major gift volunteers to support the identification, qualification, involvement, and solicitation of prospects.

We are located in northwest Morgan County, Indiana.  It is 45 minutes southwest of downtown Indianapolis, and 20 minutes from Indianapolis International Airport.  Ours is a rural setting.  Family farms surround the church.  The nearest larger cities are Mooresville, 15 miles east, and Martinsville, which is 15 miles southeast. 

Our house of worship was built in 1901 and accommodates 200.  Additions have been:  a parsonage adjacent to the church in 1955, a baptistry and Sunday school classrooms in 1962,  a fellowship hall, classrooms, and storage in 1997.  There is ample room for growth.
