Campus Safety and Security

Providing a safe living and learning environment is a top priority for the administration, faculty, and staff of Florida Christian College. There are a number of things we do to ensure a safe environment for our students.

  • Each student is assigned a keycard that allows them access to their apartment, the Student Union Building, and other exterior doors.
  • Each night our Resident Assistants visit student apartments to check that everyone is doing well.
  • The college employs a professional security service that patrols the campus during the overnight hours.
  • The college has a well planned procedure to keep students safe in the event of a hurricane. In fact, the county uses the main building on campus as a secondary shelter for those who are in harm’s way during dangerous weather.
  • The college regularly brings in guest speakers to address the students on topics such as identity theft and personal security.
