9/2/12 - LEESBURG and CLEARWATER. The Suns Started off their season with a long road trip stopping Thursday in Leesburg to play Lake Sumter on their way to the Clearwater Christian College Labor Day Tournament on Friday and Saturday. The Suns dropped their Thursday night match to Lake Sumter in three straight sets before splitting their matches in Clearwater beating both Judson College and Baptist Bible College (Mo) while losing to Trinity College and Berry University to finish 5th overall. The 2-3 Suns get back in action at home on Wednesday playing NAIA Northwood University, before taking to the road again Thursday night to play South Florida State College in Avon Park on their way to the NCCAA South Region Annual North-South Tournament being hosted this year by Trinity College in New Port Richey.
