9-20-2012. KISSIMMEE. The Lady Suns have had their ups and downs to start the 2012 season and sit at 4-10 heading into the weekend road trip to Georgia. Knowing that a young team would take their lumps as they learn to play with new teammates, the coaching staff has stressed patience with one another and a selfless approach to the game. Tough losses to some talented regional and non-regional opponents have provided the team with opportunities to try a few different line-ups as they approach the mid-point of the season. The Suns will look forward to working out the kinks as the head into the second half and the regional tournament in Toccoa Georgia at the end of October. Current statistical leaders for the Suns include Ashley Griswold- assists, SK Ferrer- kills, Andrea Archuleta- blocks and aces, and Alise Morris- digs. Go SUNS!
