After a very successful season in which the team achieved many school history firsts- first double digit win total (13 wins), first wins over south regional rivals Toccoa Falls and Trinity College, and first wins over NAIA schools Truett-McConnell College and Northwood University, the Suns received several post season honors as well. Sophomore Charlotte Worsfold was named to the NCCAA South Region 2nd team, and Freshman Brinda Wallis was named NCCAA South Region 1st team, NCCAA DII 1st team All American, AVCA 1st team All American, and CCSN NCCAA DII Volleyball Newcomer of the Year. In addition, second year Head Coach Jim Butski was named NCCAA South Region Coach of the year.
