10.27.12 At the end of the 2012 season, two Lady Suns were honored for their outstanding play in the South region of the NCCAA. Both Andrea Archuleta and Ashley Griswold were named NCCAA DII South Region 2nd Team All Region. Ashley, a junior from Eustis Florida was also named Scholar Athlete. She is the Suns season and career leader in assists and was in the top 5 regionally for assists/game in 2012. Andrea, a freshman from El Paso Texas was ranked in the region top ten for kills/game and attack percentage, led the region in aces/game and was ranked third in blocks/game. She was ranked in the NCCAA DII top 25 nationally for blocks and aces.
