The FCC Lady Suns fall again by losing on the road to University of South Carolina – Beufort, 1-14. The Lady Suns have been plagued with injuries over the last few games but they have never given up. “We struggled the first half to settle into the game,” says Coach Johnson, “but I am very proud of the way they work hard and never give up. I have heard from many of the coaches that we have played that they are impressed with the heart and fortitude that the ladies have.” The bright moment of the game was when Kassie Abercrombie moved the ball down the field and crossed the ball to the goal. Several USCB players couldn’t clear it out and Karen Attar made a back post run and finished the ball into the goal for our second goal of the season.
