Suns Show Tremendous Improvement at the
Jim Ryun Invitational

9/14/12 – Jim Ryun Invitational.The Florida Christian College Women’s Cross Country team showed tremendous improvement in their second competition of the season at the Jim Ryun Invitational (Lakeland, Florida) running against the University of Tampa, Pasco-Hernando Community College, Florida College, Warner University, Rollins College, and Southeastern University. Overall the women’s team finished the meet in 7th place.  The women were led by Kayla Martinez (24th place); Brianna McConnell (29th place); Chelsea Lewis (35th place); Nicole Marshall (44th place); Monica Cauden (45th place) and Megan Colello (47th place).  In reviewing the meet, Coach Bordelon pointed out that almost every one of the women who ran last week improved on their average mile time.  The Suns will compete again on Friday, September 28th at Titusville.
