Suns Begin 2012 Season at Johnson University

9/7/12 – Johnson University. The Florida Christian College Men’s Cross Country program began their inaugural season with their first meet at Johnson University running against Johnson University (TN), Kentucky Christian University (KY), Toccoa Falls College (GA), and Maryville College (TN). Overall the men’s team finished the meet in 3rd place. The men were led by Austin Reid (8th place); Danny McInroe (18th place); Ben Howard (20th place); Tyler Peterson (21st place); and Ivan Laster (22nd place). Also competing for the Suns were – Terry Burkey (31st place); Felix Acevedo (32nd place); and Adam Schwager (34th place). A new school record for the men’s cross country program was established by Austin Reid (28:15 for four miles). The Suns will compete again on September 14th (Lakeland, Florida)
