4.24.2009 Suns Sign Setter Brandy Arnold

Brandy Arnold, of Jacksonville, Florida, marks the third player to join the 2009 Lady Suns recruiting class. Brandy is a 5'1" setter who plays larger than her stature. Throughout her high school career she has been a Gateway All-Conference player and a Rotary Scholar Athlete during her Junior and Senior years, and was awarded Most Valuable Player 3 of her 4 years.

“Brandy is a fierce competitor and knows how to run an offense,” said Coach Reed. “She reads the defense well and makes smart decisions. She is another solid addition to this team, bringing as much integrity and character as playing ability.” Brandy will study Counseling when she enters in the fall.
