Suns Welcome Isaac Aponte

The Florida Christian College Men's Basketball program is excited to welcome Isaac Aponte to the SUNS program. Isaac, is a 5’8 point guard out of Island Coast High School located in Cape Coral, FL. Isaac was the point guard of the ICHS first ever 6A-13 district championship team and helped them to advance to the 6A sweet sixteen. Isaac will leave ICHS as the schools all time leader both in career assists (199) and career steals (170). While at ICHS Isaac was selected Honor Mention to the Fort Myers News Press All-Area Team. Although Isaac brings many on the court accolades to the SUNS program; coach Deer is most excited about his leadership potential. Coach Deer said, “Isaac is a very special young man and we are extremely fortunate to have him as a new member of our program. His energy is infectious, his enthusiasm for the game is refreshing, and I am very grateful for the fact he is a natural leader both by example and vocally.” Isaac signed his letter of intent at Island Coast High School in Cape Coral, FL. on May 8, 2012.
