As the new season approaches here on the campus of Florida Christian College excitement begins to arise. With 15 returning players from last season’s NCCAA South Region Championship Team the SUNS are poised to make another deep run into March. The Suns are led by two Junior’s point guard Montique Lynch and small forward AJ Williams, as well as, their lone senior center Alex Wierda. The Suns also welcome new comers 6’7 power forward Kaleb Baker, south Florida standout Colton Catto, and Alex Sanchez. Coach Deer said, “I am really excited about our preparation to this point. Not only do we have a roster full of talented individuals; but more than that, we have a group of men willing to sacrifice their agendas for the sake of the team. I am truly excited to see what this team will become.”

The Suns will hold their final scrimmage on Saturday October 27 @ 2:00 p.m. versus the Tampa Swish. The SUS will host Mid-Atlantic Christian University of Thursday night Nov. 1 at 7:00 p.m. for their Home opener.
