MISSION

The mission behind Suns Baseball is to generate successful competitors and citizens through the purpose, preparation and performance involved in the great game of baseball, to the Glory of God.  There are two main objectives within the program:

1. To assist in creating young Kingdom Building men of God, who will be disciplined, academically inclined college graduates; and who will compete and succeed on the field on a national level, through regional and national championship tournaments.

2. To serve as a testimony to the power of Jesus Christ to opponents, umpires, administrators, fans, media and the local and state-wide community.
In this respect, for the athletic community and the public, the Suns Baseball program hopes to serve as an extension of and bring attention to the values of Florida Christian College.   The key phrase for Suns Baseball is "Honor God", which is taken from God's promise found in Suns Baseball key verses,1Samuel 2:30 and John 12:26, that those who Honor Him, He will Honor.  This truth has been incorporated as an athletic lifestyle for many great Christian athletes throughout history.  GO SUNS!
