You might be wondering what the student life resembles for an adult learner like yourself? Florida Christian College is a community of students and faculty combined. No matter if you are taking online classes in another state or are on campus only one night a week, FCC is just as much yours as any other student or alumnus. So please feel welcome to any student life activities!

Athletics

If you are eligible to play sports for FCC, then go for it! We play in the DII of The NCCAA and offer Men’s Basketball, Baseball, and Cross Country as well as Women’s Volleyball, Soccer, and Cross Country. If you do not play a sport, that is okay, you can still cheer for your team at the games! You can also watch our games live on the internet. Banquets

There are three on-campus banquets a year that you are invited to: the Christmas Banquet in December, Heart’s Day Banquet in February, and Missions Banquet in March. There is always free food and fun. You can even bring your family if you want! Keep an eye on your weekly email announcements to find out the dates for each banquet or for other school events. Please also keep in mind that Banquets fall on Thursdays, so if you have a class, food from the banquet will be delivered to you.

Student Union Building

For those who have class on campus, please use our Student Union Building (SUB) to relax, watch TV, or grab a snack before class begins! This is a great place to work on group projects with your classmates. There is also a pool behind the SUB that is available for your use as well. As a student, you can bring your family to our pool if you desire. Just remember there is no lifeguard on duty so you must swim at your own risk.

Library and Student Success Center

Our library on campus is an amazing resource for homework and papers. We have over 46,000 volumes of books to choose from. The library is a nice quiet area to work if you need some place to escape from the noise of life. We also have an amazing amount of eBooks and periodicals on our virtual library! The Student Success Center is an invaluable tool for all our students. Located on the north side of the library is the office of the Student Success Director, Joe Harvey. If you ever need help finding research or writing a paper, making a power point presentation, managing your time, or even studying for a test, stop by to see Dr. Harvey or send him an email at . Life-Long Leadership Development (LLD)

Every student of Florida Christian College is required to take part in Life-Long Leadership Development. LLD is broken down into three areas that must be fulfilled in order to graduate: corporate worship, small groups, and Christian service. You must complete the LEAD Life-Long Leadership form per semester to prove that these three areas have been fulfilled. The easiest way to complete LLD is to find a church that you love and get involved there as much as possible. Your spiritual life will grow along with your Christian education.
