Experience the LEAD Program

A student on this track will only be allowed to take a maximum of 6 credits per semester and are only allowed to earn a total of 12 credits as a non-degree seeking student. In addition, the non-degree seeking track does not qualify for financial aid and all credit hours will transfer into any LEAD program here at Florida Christian College.

Admission requirements:

An applicant (23yrs or older) may be admitted as a non-degree seeking student when the following has been submitted.

1. Application and fee
2. One church leader reference form
3. One biographical essay
4. Transcripts if applicable

*Students who are under 23 but who demonstrate lifestyle circumstances congruent with the LEAD program design (employed, family responsibilities, etc.) may petition admittance.

Procedure:

1. The student completes the Admissions application, one church reference, one essay, and submits
    a one-time application fee.
2. After approval of the application, the student registers for classes (maximum term class load of six
    credit hours).
3. The student receives grade reports and has a transcript in the same manner and time as
    degree-seeking students.

Special Guidelines: Dates and Deadlines for non-degree seeking are the same as other LEAD admission Dates and Deadlines. Since the application process for non-degree seeking is shorter, if you decide to become a degree-seeking student, you will need to notify the Registrar’s office and complete the rest of the application process through Admissions.
