TUITION & FEES

Base Cost is the cost of your college education before any financial aid is factored in, and consists of Tuition and estimated Fees. The actual total amount that you will pay as an individual (Out of Pocket Cost) is subject to several factors that affect base cost (how many courses you take, whether or not you live on campus), as well as factors that affect financial aid (Estimated Family Contribution, awarded scholarships and grants, etc.). The simplest way to understand the actual annual cost of your education is by the following formula:

BASE COST (tuition/fees) - FINANCIAL AID (grants/scholarships/loans) = OUT OF POCKET COST (actual cost)

FIXED RATE TUITION

Economic inflation can make long-term planning difficult at times, especially when it concerns the inflation of college tuition prices. To help make your education more affordable and enable you to more easily plan your long term financing, Florida Christian College instituted a Fixed Rate Tuition plan for all degree-seeking students, beginning in the 2004-2005 academic year. Fixed Rate Tuition simply means that the tuition rate a student enters with will remain the rate they pay throughout the duration of their time at Florida Christian College. This rate is applicable for up to 10 consecutive semesters, as long as the student maintains an accepted admissions standing and continues to be enrolled in a degree program (does not apply to dual-enroll, or non-degree seeking students). Courses taken after graduation, after ten semesters, or upon readmission, will be charged at that year's current tuition rate.

PAYING YOUR BILL

In order to make the process as smooth as possible for you, FCC accepts various forms of payments. You may pay with cash, money orders, personal checks, Visa, Master card, or online payments. You may also choose to enter the FCC payment plan and schedule payments out over the length of the semester. Contact the Finance Office at (407) 847-8966 for details.

Student Account Balances are due by the beginning of the semester. You will receive a statement indicating the amount due. Should you decide to participate in the Drop/Add period, adjustments will be made and if necessary, a charge or credit will be made to your student account. You should communicate financial information to anyone who will be assisting you with the payment of your student account. The due date will be enforced and a student who has not satisfied their account will not be enrolled in class.

Should additional awards be pending for a semester, your student account will reflect those items as awards (credits). Documentation for third party support (examples are church support, community scholarships, or corporate scholarships) must be provided to the Financial Aid Office in advance to be able to post as a potential award.
