Worship Technology: Sound Systems I

Need help in troubleshooting sound systems in your worship ministry?  This is a seminar to help the sound tech volunteers in the local church:

Guest Lecturer:  Steve Kane

Steve Kane is a curriculum writer, lecturer, and a Digital Audio Workstations Director at Full Sail University. He also became a Career Advisor for Recording Arts and Music Business students in 2006. He began his professional career in Nashville and has worked in different capacities with Les Paul, Reba McIntyre, Vince Gill, Charlie Peacock, Skip Ewing, Sarah Mason, Jewel, Outkast, Bela Fleck, and Terry Bradshaw. Steve continues his freelance career as a musician, engineer, producer, life coach, and motivational speaker. He is also a member of River Run Christian Church in Chuluota, Florida.

Seminar Topics:               

1. Identify the basic components of a minor to a major sound system.
2. Familiarize with setting up and trouble-shooting sound systems.
3. Fix minor problems and change the system’s configuration from a live-sound set up to a recording set up.
