What would have happened if Peter Parker never realized he could climb up walls? What if Clark Kent was told he could fly, and had superhuman strength, but decided it was a little too risky to live that way? What if Bruce Wayne had chosen to never put on the mask in the first place? Two identities. One ordinary, seemingly true. The other, extraordinary, but often unbelieved. And only one is the true identity. On August 13th-14th, middle school students from around the state will come together on the campus of Florida Christian College for Middle School Mania 2010! This event is open to all middle school youth, including those who will start 6th grade in the Fall. "UNLEASHED" is this year's theme and explores what it looks like to embrace and walk in our true, given identity. Justin Landrum, student minister at Real Life Christian Church will be speaking, while The Kenny Beers band returns to lead us in worship. The event will conclude with a day-long trip to Wet-n-Wild! Middle School Mania costs $35.00 per individual (adult sponsor or student). This fee includes the cost of breakfast on Saturday morning, event fees, and Wet ‘n Wild tickets. The Registration Deadline is July 30th . If Payment and Registration Forms are not received, or postmarked by July 30th, a $10 late fee will be charged for each individual. Registrations are transferable to another person attending Middle School Mania, but they are non-refundable. Main Sessions We are excited about our two Main Sessions on Friday night & Saturday morning. They will include a worship time with The Kenny Beers Band, messages from Justin Landrum, and small group time.
Wet ‘n Wild Saturday morning, following breakfast at FCC, we will head to Wet ‘n Wild Water Park for the remainder of the day. The Middle School program will end with the Saturday morning session. We will not have any organized activities at the water park.
