Get ready for IMPACT 2011! The Admissions Office at Florida Christian College is once again making plans for our annual youth event IMPACT, which is known for its huge touch football tournament, the Sun Bowl, the largest of its kind in the nation. This year is the 24th anniversary of the Sun Bowl. The event will be a weekend of fun, football, and more, including an opportunity for you and your youth to worship God and learn from His Word.

This year's theme is Off-Road! which explores the truth of the Narrow Road and the need for believers to truly walk it. Throughout the event, we will be discussing the idea located in Matthew chapter 9: 10-13, "While Jesus was having dinner at Matthew's house, many tax collectors and sinners came and ate with him and his disciples. When the Pharisees saw this, they asked his disciples, "Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?"  On hearing this, Jesus said, "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. But go and learn what this means: 'I desire mercy, not sacrifice.' For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners."

IMPACT Purpose

This event is designed to be both physically and spiritually challenging for students and adults. The purpose of IMPACT is threefold:

1. To provide an opportunity to share Christ with those who do not yet know Him.

2. To introduce students to Florida Christian College and the opportunities available to them.

3. To provide an opportunity for youth groups to build community through teamwork and competition.

IMPACT Programming

The three days that make up IMPACT include much more than football and we are looking forward to the great lineup we have scheduled again this year!

IMPACT Worship | The Aaron Pelsue Band

The Aaron Pelsue band is a high-energy praise and worship band that ministers to both the body of Christ and the unsaved of the world, by bringing a guitar driven, vocally pleasing mix of original and cover songs that cry out praise to God and honor to Jesus Christ. The goal of the band is to build a relationship with the audience and come together as one body raising praises to God. The band plays to an audience of One and believes that He will be glorified in all they do. Those who may not know Christ will be inspired and energized by the presence of God's Spirit in their music. Followers of Christ will be drawn into the worship and adoration of the Lord.
