Get ready for IMPACT 2013!

The Admissions Office at Florida Christian College is once again making plans for our annual youth event IMPACT, which is known for its huge touch football tournament, Sun Bowl. This year is the 26th anniversary of Sun Bowl. The event will be a weekend of fun, football, and more, including an opportunity for you and your youth to worship God and learn from His Word. This year’s theme is “THE RED ZONE.”

Purpose

IMPACT will begin on Friday, February 1st and will conclude on Sunday, February 3rd. This event is designed to be both physically and spiritually challenging for students and adults. The purpose of IMPACT is threefold:

1. To provide an opportunity to share Christ with those who do not yet know Him.
2. To introduce students to Florida Christian College.
3. To provide an opportunity for youth groups to build community through teamwork and competition.

Programming

The three days that make up IMPACT include much more than football. We are looking forward to the great lineup we have scheduled again this year! Jeff Walling will be bringing us the Word and the Matt Estrin Collective will be leading us in worship. This year we are raising money for Rapha House: Haiti Project. Our goal is to raise $5,000 to build a safehouse for those trapped in human trafficking in Haiti! If you would like more information regarding this mission, check out www.RaphaHouse.org.

Event Worship Leader – THE MATT ESTRIN COLLECTIVE

The Matt Estrin Collective, is a worship group that is led by Matt Estrin, the worship minister at Journey Christian Church. They have the opportunity each week to lead the people of Journey Christian Church in passionate worship. Matt has been leading worship for over 10 years for both large and small groups of people. The Collective is planning on releasing its first worship album in early January. Event Speaker – Jeff Walling

Jeff Walling has spent the last thirty years preaching and teaching about Jesus. His passionate style and dramatic delivery has made him a sought after speaker, lecturing to tens of thousands annually at Christian universities, evangelism seminars, and conferences worldwide. Jeff is in his fifteenth year of service as the Senior Minister for Providence Road Church of Christ.

Coaches' Meeting:  7:30pm Friday, February 1st. One adult coach from each team MUST be at this meeting, even if you have attended IMPACT in the past.
