Who is the FCC CIY TEAM?

The Florda Christian College CIY Life team is a student team that travels to Christ in Youth MOVE conferences throughout the summer. They serve as representatives of FCC, and as small group leaders, teachers, recreation leaders, and more. The CIY Team has been representing FCC for more than a decade. This year's New Life team is Amos Smith and Alex Wierda (see their bios to learn more about them!). Check out the schedule at the bottom of the page to find out where they'll be this summer. AMOS SMITH

Class: Junior

Age: 23

Major: Preaching

Hometown: Port Orange, FL

Life Verse: 1 Peter 2:9-10

Random Fact: "Ok, here's one: I helped slaughter a lamb for Passover last year. I even got to pull out the heart (yeah, I know its gross)!"

ALEX WIERDA

Class: Freshman

Age: 19

Major: Youth & Family Ministry

Hometown: Jacksonville, FL

Life Verse: Ephesians 5:1

Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.

Random Fact: "My favorite dinosaur is the Stegosaurus. Is that random enough?"
