APPLYING FOR FINANCIAL AID FOR THE 2013-2014 YEAR

STEP ONE: COMPLETE A FAFSA

In order to receive Federal, State, or Institutional (Florida Christian College) aid, each student must first complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The easiest way to do this is to go to www.fafsa.ed.gov. To receive the maximum amount of aid you should submit your FAFSA by APRIL 15. You will need income and tax information from the previous year, including your W-2 and tax documents along with your parents’ tax information.
Due to the potential merger with Florida Christian College and Johnson University, be sure to list Florida Christian College (school code 015192) AND Johnson University (school code 003495) in the school section in order to have your information sent to us.

STEP TWO: COMPLETE THE FINANCIAL AID APPLICATION

Once you have completed your FAFSA, complete the Financial Aid Application and submit it to the Financial Aid Office.

STEP THREE: COMPLETE LOAN STEPS (OPTIONAL)
If you are going to apply for loans, you will need to complete the following:
  • Loan Request Form
  • Entrance Counseling - www.studentloans.gov
  • Sign Master Promissory Note (MPN)- www.studentloans.gov
  • STEP FOUR: APPLY FOR SCHOLARSHIPS
You will want to explore any scholarships that you may be eligible for, including local and national scholarship opportunities. See www.fcc.edu for more information.
