Unfunded Scholarship Conditions:

Unfunded scholarships are sometimes partially, but not fully, funded. Unfunded scholarships are based solely on eligibility requirements that a student meets and makes the FAA aware of on the FCC Scholarship Application. All funded scholarships (except loans) will be applied to student’s account prior to unfunded scholarships. Unfunded scholarships will then be applied, not to exceed the student’s cost of education. Loan awards will not be calculated when considering the student’s cost of education.

Unfunded scholarships will not be applied to the student’s account until Final’s week of both semesters. The student will forfeit the scholarship the first semester if he/she exceeds 20% in absences in any course, drops below 12 hours of total credits being taken, accumulates more than 29 points, or is no longer a student at FCC for any reason at the end of the semester. Should a student forfeit the scholarship the first semester, it will also be forfeited the second semester.

The student will forfeit the scholarship for the second semester for any of the reasons listed above and if his/her CGPA is less than a 2.0 (unless otherwise specified) at the end of either term.

The student must have completed the financial aid process (including the Free Application for Federal Student Aid) each academic year to the satisfaction of the Financial Aid Office in order to be considered for the scholarships.
