PART 1A: PREPARATION

The internship process begins with a 1 credit-hour course taken during the first semster of your junior year.
The purpose of this course is to get you ready to meet with a prospective internship field supervisor, in order
to arrange a future internship. During the course, you will create or refine a ministry portfolio, which will
include a (1) personal profile, (2) philosophy of ministry, (3) resume and (4) personal testimony.
You'll also learn about the basics of creating an excellent internship experience (i.e., working with a mentor) and
begin to develop your interview skills. Finally, you'll begin to
develop your internship goals and learn the internship application process.
This is a pass or fail course; no grade will be assigned. The course must be completed before continuing
