Ministry Division Chair, Professor of Counseling

Florida Christian College is blessed to have Lyle Bundy serve as the chair of the Division of Ministry and also teach as Professor of Communication and Counseling.

Lyle Bundy is an educator with over 24 years of experience in college instruction and 39 years of experience in leadership ministry. He completed an M.A. in Interpersonal Communication at Governor State University, and an M.Div. in Pastoral Leadership and Counseling at Lincoln Christian Seminary. He received additional training with the Christian Counseling Foundation and Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia, PA.

Professor Bundy has been trained in communication and conflict resolution with Sherod Miller and with the Leadership Development Institute of Eckerd College in the use of the Conflict Dynamics Profile. He has received additional training in the use of the Team Development Process developed by the corporate trainer Keith Ayers of Integro Learning Company.

Lyle has gained a reputation as a passionate speaker and motivator. He has provided pulpit supply and instruction to many congregations in the state of Florida and has served as interim minister for a number of other congregations. He is committed to using his gifts to help his students mature in Christ and develop the attitudes and skills that foster healthy team and interpersonal relationships.

Lyle and his wife, Karen, have been married for nearly 41 years. They have two married daughters and two grandchildren.
