Jack Lup, Professor of Bible and Biblical Languages, received his bachelor degree from Florida Christian College (1981), and advanced degrees in Church History and Theology from Cincinnati Bible Seminary (1986, 1993). He is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Philosophy at the University of South Florida.

Jack grew up in Trenton, New Jersey and Sarasota, Florida. He worked as a professional musician until his conversion to Christ in 1977. In 1982, he was set apart for ministry by the Englewood Christian Church (Jacksonville, Florida) and has since served in Florida, Georgia, and Ohio as youth minister, campus minister, preaching minister, discipleship and small group minister. He serves on the board of directors for Christian Campus Fellowship at UCF, and as a director for the Christian Riders (Biker) Ministry. He serves as teacher and praise band guitarist at Southside Christian Church in Orlando.

He and his family are members of Southside Christian Church, Orlando.  He presently serves as the interim preaching minister at West Orange Christian Church, Orlando. Professor Lup teaches classes in Bible, Theology, Philosophy, the Hebrew language, and Great Books of the Western World literature classes.

He and his wife Jan (Smith) have been married over 25 years and have three children: Kristen, Jessica, and John. Kristen is graduating this year from FCC with her BA degree, and Jessica and John are both currently attending FCC.
