James Chesser
Bible Division Chair, Associate Professor of Bible

A Florida native, Jim Chesser serves on the faculty as Associate Professor of Bible. Jim earned his bachelor’s degree at Great Lakes Bible
College and his master’s degree at Cincinnati Bible Seminary. He has held several ministries in the Midwest and Florida.
Professor Chesser teaches mostly Bible classes such as The Epistles, Acts, and Introduction
to Biblical Studies. He also teaches some theology classes in the LEAD Programs.
Jim and his wife, Sandy, have four children. Two sons are serving
in the military in Iraq. Their daughter, Stephanie, attends FCC in the elementary education program. Their youngest daughter, Jodie, is married and is a recent graduate of Florida Christian College.
Besides teaching, Jim’s great love is in the area of missions. He has planned and participated in numerous mission trips and has been a forwarding agent for many years for a missionary in Mexico. Professors Chesser and Howard led groups of students to Piedras Negras, Mexico in 2006 and 2007 and poured many concrete roofs for families there as well as delivered basic food supplies, ball caps, and lots and lots of love. |
