Distinguished Professor of Practical Ministries and Missions

Glenn Bourne has taught for many years at Florida Christian College, retiring in May 2004. He was a Distinguished Professor of Practical Ministry and was particularly known for his Life of Christ class. Students and colleagues alike learned from his insightful observances combined with his masterful applications of God’s word.

Professor Bourne has long been an advocate of foreign missions and has taught in many different countries. He has frequently spoken at Faith Promise rallies and missionary functions and continues to do so.

Glenn has authored two books: Faith Promise: A Point of View and Tower of Truth, a commentary on the book of Revelation (which has also been translated into Spanish). Many of his teaching series are also available on video through Good News Productions.

On a personal note, Glenn and his wife, Carolyn have four children: David, Miriam, Mark, and Sarah. Their sons are both preachers and their daughters are both preachers’ wives.
