Portfolios

During the internship semester, students will turn in a final portfolio for evaluation. This portfolio is a representation of all of the work a teacher candidate completes during their coursework at FCC and shows their mastery of the Florida Educator Accomplished Practices (FEAPs). The practicum courses help to prepare teacher candidates to complete the portfolio by requiring preliminary work on the portfolio each semester.

The portfolio must include 6 artifacts for each of the FEAPs and is graded with extreme scrutiny. Future teachers are expected to use this document as they apply for their initial teaching position in the state of Florida. Mrs. Humphrey helps to guide students in the creation of their final portfolio.
