Christian Ministry

Specialization:Cross-Cultural Ministry

(135 semester hour degree:  Bible - 40 hours; General Studies - 45 hours; and Ministerial Studies - 50 hours)

Purpose:  The purpose of the Cross-Cultural Ministry Specialization is to assist the student in the formation of the character, attitudes, and skills necessary to initiate ministry in a cross-cultural setting.  The student is prepared to minister across cultural barriers to make disciples, incorporating them into the church and teaching them the precepts of Jesus.

Objectives:  The Cross-Cultural Ministry specialty is designed to equip the student with intermediate skills......

  1. for planning, preparing and presenting Biblical instruction with a cross-cultural context.
  2. and knowledge necessary for the planning and promotion of church growth in a cross-cultural context.
  3. and knowledge necessary for pastoral leadership and ministry with a cross-cultural context.

Note: Students must maintain a 2.5 cumulative GPA for courses in the Ministry Major to graduate with this Specialization.
